Create discount codes

Open Advanced → Marketing → Discounts (also Settings → Discount codes) and select Add new. Discounts need the Starter plan or above.

Create a code

• Code: 3 to 40 characters; it's saved in capitals.
• Type: Percentage, Fixed amount or Free shipping.
• Applies to: all products, specific products or specific collections.
• Limits (optional): minimum subtotal, total usage limit, once per customer, start and end dates.

How shoppers use it

Each percentage or fixed-amount discount is created in your Stripe account as a coupon with a promotion code. Shoppers enter the code on Stripe Checkout, or it's applied when it comes from the cart.

Free shipping codes are kept in Cornerrr only and aren't created in Stripe, so place a test order to check how they behave before you promote one.

Tips

• Turn a code off by unticking Active or setting an end date. Changing its terms creates a fresh code in Stripe and retires the old one.
• The assistant can draft discounts for you (try "Set up a 10% sale"), and asks again before applying one over 50%.
