Your store’s language and wording
Pick the language customers read your store in, and change any button or message to your own words.
Open Settings → Language (/studio/settings/language).
Pick a language
Choose your store's language: English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, Nederlands, Português, Polski, Български or Tiếng Việt. Select Save. Every button, message and page title your customers read switches to it: product buttons, the cart, sign-in, their orders, the 404 page. Prices and dates follow the language too, and Stripe's checkout page opens in it.
Your own content (product names and descriptions, pages, menus and the text in your website's sections) stays exactly as you wrote it. Write it in the same language, or ask the assistant to translate it.
Use your own words
Under Your own words, every label has a field. Type yours to replace it: "Add to bag" instead of "Add to cart", or "Basket" instead of "Cart". Leave a field empty to use the language's words, shown in grey. Search with Find a word.
Some labels hold a value your store fills in, like {count} in "Only {count} left". Keep it in your wording: the form warns you if it's missing.
Moved from Cornerrr 1?
Your Cornerrr 1 translations came with you as your own words, and a store whose labels were translated reads in that language.
